The media could not be loaded.Let me start by saying that I have no idea about the story of this model. I do believe that it is a ‘bad guy’ but I may be wrong. But it does not matter to me as I collect these mostly based on how cool looking they are in my eyes. I do not think you have to know the whole story about something to take pleasure from it.This is one of my favorite Gundams kits. It was easy to build and once built very easy on the eyes. I changed the color scheme of mine a little as I painted over the light purple parts with silver. This may not go along with the story line of this particular Zaku and the color it is supposed to be but I went with what I wanted it to look like and I think it looks better. Check out my pictures to see. There are three other versions of this model that I am aware of, one being green, one being an orange color and the other being red. There may be more I don’t know. I own the red one as well, but this is my favorite of the two that I own. I do have the other two on my wish list though.I can not say this enough. If you’re going to collect and build Gundams you should really invest in a Gundam marker and some paint. I bought a model that came with a marker and it has lasted (and is still going over 15 model builds later) a long time. I also use gold and silver paint alot. I am no where near as good as some but it still looks better than just leaving it as is.Now I will explain the star rating I gave it. This is a fun model to pose (or play with if you please) and was very fun to paint and finally put together. It is educational as it is a model and models teach you how to use your own hands to create something as well as the patience to do so. It is durable as it does not fall apart when you play around with it. So overall I give it five stars.
